Our Funktionary started at the age of 10 in 1979, recording for the first time on a k-7 tape, the song "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" by Michael Jackson.

Soon it was a passion for the Disco Funk musical style.

In São Paulo, Brazil, at that time, Julinho Mazzei's "Big Apple Show" program was playing on the radio, direct from New York, always bringing the Disco Funk news of what was played there. This has only increased the passion for these styles.

With the emergence of the web, at the beginning of the Orkut community, we created "Funk Classics", "Portal Du Funk", "Funk Power", being one of the first communities with music exchanges, and the first to bring the "rarities".

In 2006 we created Portal Radio, being the first web radio specialized in Disco Funk in Brazil and one of the first in the world.

With the explosion of "blogs" we also created for sharing "The Master Of Funk" where we got more than 2,000,000 hits in less than a year.

After a period away from our Portal Radio, we are now back with RAdio BOOgie, always bringing the same quality as the old Portal.
